GJ Stabbing Trial Moves Forward

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The trial for a man accused of stabbing his wife in the head will move forward.

Jesus Villarruel was in court today for a preliminary hearing. A judge ruled there is probable cause of first degree assault, a count three felony.

Villarruel is believed to have stabbed his wife in the head with a knife, this October. She was found bleeding heavily from the head, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Villarruel will be representing himself and is due back in court on January 28.
