The Pot growing business is booming! I smell it on my street constantly. The Sheriff has done nothing to stop it.

How many times does the public need to say no thanks? How long do we need to say no thanks? Which issue am I talking about?

A grand total of about thirty people read the comments here. This is my second time here and that's only because I'm bored. If you want to get your message out stand on the corner of 1st and Grand with a very large protest sign until your arms get tired and you lose your voice from shouting.

A resolution is nothing more than a formal expression of opinion or intention, it isn't a law.

The religious comment is completely out of context. It does not even deserve a response. To Duncan20903... the voters of Colorado SHOULD BE the boss of a city council. Unless you are fond of totalitarian governments???

Grand Junction City Council to the voters of Colorado, "you're not the boss of us."

Jesus specifically told his disciples to “anoint” people. That anointing took place using a specific formula made from a recipe found in the Old Testament book of Exodus. That recipe (Exodus 30:23) includes about 6 pounds of “kaneh-bosen”. According to many biblical scholars, “kaneh-bosen” was/is Marijuana. Most of the diseases mentioned as being healed miraculously after anointing are, curiously, the same ones that cannabis can heal today. Things like epilepsy, leprosy, and “crooked limbs” (an obvious reference to multiple sclerosis). Exodus 30: 23 Moreover, the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even 250 shekels, and of qaneh-bosm [cannabis] 250 shekels, 24 And of cassia 500 shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin: 25 And thou shalt make it an oil of holy anointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary.

Keep opening those bars and distillery's that kill more people in GJ than are murdered but keep on banning that evil weed that no one can even mention one death. You have made the cartels and underground dealers very happy GJ city counsel! The youth thank you for making it easier to get than alcohol! Dealers don't need ID.
