Funeral Services for Cmdr. Greg Assenmacher

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Thoughts continue to go out for the family of fallen Commander Greg Assenmacher.

Funeral services for the Grand Junction Police commander will be held Monday, at 11 a.m. at Fellowship Church.

The burial will immediately follow at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

Visitation hours at Callahan Edfast Mortuary will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 1 p.m. to 4 pm. on Sunday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Haley and Madison Assenmacher Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank and to the Western Slope Center for Children.

Commander Assenmacher died of natural causes at his home on Tuesday evening.
