Fruita Lions Chili Supper Supports Graduating Seniors

FRUITA, Colo. - Dozens of folks got their fill of home-made chili while helping out a good cause Friday evening.

The Fruita Lions Club put on the event which served chili and "Judy's Famous Chicken Noodle Soup."

A cake walk also helped the group raise money.

All proceeds from Friday's event goes towards the Lions' scholarship program for Fruita Monument High School Seniors.

The Fruita Lions will be holding another Chili Supper on Saturday, February 2 at Independence Village Hall at 225 N. Coulson in Fruita.

It will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Tickets for adults are $5, ages 6-12 are $4 and kids under 5 years old can eat for free.
