Fruita Adopts 2013 Budget

FRUITA, Colo. - Fruita city officials have adopted the final 2013 budget of $16.8 million which they previously attributed to an increase in sales and county tax revenues.

Some of the major capital projects city officials are planning for next year are Pine Street improvements which has been allotted $1.1 million.

- $845,000 will be put towards trails.
- $200,000 will be put toward the overlay program.
- $350,100 will be put toward bike park improvements, which includes a $240,000 grant.
- $100,000 towards downtown improvements.
