COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Frontier Airlines plans to end service to Colorado Springs in early April.

Earlier this year, the carrier planned to continue flying from Colorado Springs to Los Angeles and Phoenix while halting service from Colorado Springs to Denver, San Diego and Orlando, Fla. But Frontier spokeswoman Kate O'Malley tells The Gazette bookings to Los Angeles and Phoenix deteriorated after the cutbacks to Denver, San Diego and Orlando were announced. That led to the decision to end all service from Colorado Springs by mid-April.

Frontier plans to stop flying from Colorado Springs to Los Angeles after March 2 and to Phoenix after April 7.
