Free Prom Dress Giveaway

by KREX News Room
by Danielle Kreutter

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - A local teen support organization is making sure every high school student attending prom in the Grand Valley can look their best.

The House: A Safe Place for Teens has teamed up with Jo's Clothes Consignment to give away up to 400 prom dresses to teens who don't have the means to buy their own.

Organizers say there's "no catch." Teens can come and pick out a dress, get a free coupon to get it pressed or dry cleaned and there will be a seamstress on site to do free alterations.

The giveaway will be held at Jo's Clothes Consignment at 251 Colorado Avenue this Saturday from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
