The Colorado State Patrol says a man driving a flatbed truck was traveling southbound on County Road 49 when he crashed into a car that went through a stop sign at the intersection of County Road 54.

The driver of that truck was airlifted to the hospital, but his condition has not yet been released.

The victims in the car were identified as 45-year-old Jamie Prado-Garcia and his wife, 63-year-old Linda Alvarez, both of Omaha, Neb.

The two children killed in the crash were 8-year-old Pedro Partida and 2-year-old Christian Partida, of Evans. The boys were nephews of Prado-Garcia.
