Four Arrested in Heroin Bust

by Cori Coffin

Grand Junction - Four local residents were arrested after a special sting operation by the Mesa County Drug Task Force. Police say Buddy Cates, Stormye Fergeson, Keaton Eaton, and Luis Villalpando were booked into the Mesa County Jail on drug charges after a surveillance of a home at 834 Elm Avenue.

During an inside search of the home, officers found an excess of 10 grams of heroin, a small amount of cocaine, methamphetamine, hallucinogen mushrooms, as well as four firearms.

Parents were probably high on crack when they came up with a name for him.

I'd do drugs too, if my parents named me Keaton Eaton. sheesh!

I think he parents of Keaton should also be charged with naming him Keaton Eaton. How unfair is that?

yes im sure that a lot of those drugs can be found in many homes but EVERY one should go behind bars for possesion. i personally dont know of any one who is in to that kind of life style . if i do they are no longer a friend ? sa what our society has come to . so many are not worried about rent etc just about where they are going to get there drugs

Those drugs can be found in many homes here in Spun Junction. Just sounds like they were gonna have a small, quaint party.

agreed i don't by nature like cops, but i gotta say any meth or heroine taken off the streets deserves a good job, as for the dealer too bad he didn't accidentally get shot in the bust

not suprised.... said on Monday, Feb 20 at 1:51 AM

Great job, GJPD! More trash off the streets and unable to sell poison. Keep up the great work!
