Palisade Man Wanted by FBI, Charged With Sexually Assaulting Child

DENVER - Palisade police are searching for a man after he was charged with sexually assaulting a child, and now the Federal Bureau of Investigation is also looking for him after they believe he left the state after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

James David Tiner had previously held music lessons out of his house before it's suspected that he sexually assaulted one of his young students, now he is on the Denver FBI's Most Wanted list.

Tiner, who also goes by "Music Dave" is accused of sexually assaulting a young girl at least four times between September 2009 and June 2010.

During that time period, the victim was 8 years old and was going to Tiner's home in Palisade for music lessons.

In April of 2012, the victim's mother contacted authorities, who then searched his home. Authorities found multiple graphic videos and photographs of the victim, as well as other photos unknown underage females.

Authorities issued a warrant for Tiner's arrest, charging him with multiple counts of sexual assault on a child. They believe he may be on the run and have issued an additional charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

"There is definitely concern that there is the potentiality for future victims and so it's just important that we can find him and place him into custody and go through the judiciary process because I do, at this point, think that he can pose a threat to the community," said Debra Funston, the investigator of the case at the Palisade Police Department.

FBI officials believe he has left the state and may be in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Authorities say Tiner may be driving a red Isuzu Rodeo. He also may be with his dog, Kili.

Tiner is known to be an outdoors-man and may be camping.

This guy is nothing compared to that monster aaron jason dotson who is in mesa jail while he is going to trial for 50 counts of rape and incest over a period of 10 years on his 4 young children. Dotson needs either the death penalty or life in prison. This is the most horrendous case ever seen. dotson must be never allowed to be free again. This guy is evil and very dangerous to kids. He was charged for a previous kidnapping of a child he didnt even know. The judge let him off on a deferred. Please, not again. He will end up killing kids next time i'm sure.
