DENVER - According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Colorado is one of 29 states that have a high level of flu activity.

Officials say it's not too late to get a flu shot.

Although CDC has been recommending flu shots for everyone over the age of six months, only 37 percent of Americans have been vaccinated this season.

18 children have died from influenza-related illnesses since the flu season began.
