Fires Near Wolcott Shut Down Part of I-70

EAGLE COUNTY, Colo.- Officials closed eastbound Interstate 70 just east of Wolcott for several hours Saturday night due to multiple fires in that area.

One eastbound lane has since been reopened; officials say US 6 is a current alternate route.

There is no word yet on the containment status of those fires.
