LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. )AP)- Fire crews gain ground in battling the wildfire in the foothills west of Fort Collins.

Fire containment lines are holding around the Galena Fire.

Crews said the 1,300-acre blaze was 85 percent contained Monday evening.

About 130 people are fighting the wildfire, which broke out on Friday.

Hundreds of residents evacuated by the fire were allowed to return Saturday. Pre-evacuation notices also have been canceled, but residents are being urged to remain alert for changing conditions.

The fire has damaged numerous pedestrian bridges in Lory State Park.

Investigators believe it was human-caused but isn't due to a campfire, controlled burn or prescribed burn.
