RED FEATHER LAKES, Colo.- More firefighters are on their way to help fight a wildfire near the Wyoming border.

The Roach Fire was burning on 250 acres Wednesday in northwest Larimer County in the Roosevelt National Forest, about three miles south of the Wyoming line. It's 10 percent contained.

About 100 firefighters are already fighting the fire and another 40 firefighters were expected later in the day.

No homes are threatened. The nearest structure is six miles away.

The fire is burning in lodgepole pine that has been hit with mountain pine beetle, so there is dead wood to burn.

The fire was reported Monday and the cause is under investigation.
