ORCHARD MESA, Colo.- A fire broke out just after 11:15 p.m. Friday, destroying one house in Orchard Mesa.

It happened on the 2000 block of Ronda Lee Road.

Grand Junction Fire Department crews were able to control the fire quickly; however, it was not enough to save the house.

Officials say no one was in the house at the time.

Neighbors tell NewsChannel 5 the house was foreclosed several months ago.

Several secondary explosions took place at the scene. Fire officials say they were likely from propane tanks in the garage.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. An investigation is underway.

Why didn't you losers have a film crew at the scene when the fire was burning?
