Montrose County Fire Continues to Burn

PARADOX, Colo.- A fire that was reported Friday evening continues to burn four miles north of Paradox.

Officials say the cause of the fire is unknown. It has burned over 3,000 acres of public and private land. There are 10 engines on the scene, with a special team moving into the area.

Officials say there have been no structures burned, and roughly 10 residents have been evacuated.

The Montrose County Sheriff closed Buckeye, R1 and U5 roads.

Glad this is getting updated. Since no injuries, deaths, or property damage this isn't news anymore.
