Fire Causes Minimal Damage to Grand Junction Trailer

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - A Grand Junction neighborhood started their work week
on the smoky side and it may have been because someone was doing a little too much laundry.

Right before 7:00 a.m. Monday morning, Grand Junction Fire Department responded to a reported fire at 2713 B 1/2 Road.

When officials arrived on scene, the trailer was overcome with smoke, but authorities were quickly able to get a hold on the situation before matters
got worse.

Fire officials say they believe a build up of lint
in a dryer caused the fire. No one was hurt in
the incident and officials say damage to the
home is minimal.
