Final Person Involved in Death of Grand Valley Man Sentenced
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The final person involved in the death of Rigoberto Luna has been sentenced. Lyndsy Peters,33, has been sentenced to two years in Community Corrections after pleading guilty to felony forgery and possession of a controlled substance. Leading up to the death of Rigoberto, Peters told authorities her, Nathan Dennis, Sadie Camis and Aaron Ungles were using drugs and drinking alcohol. Shortly after the four got into a vehicle with Rigoberto driving. Peters asked him to pull over because she felt ill. After exiting the vehicle and leaving momentarily, Peters said she came back to see Dennis choking Luna with a lug wrench. Ungles, Camis and Dennis have already been sentenced for their role in the murder and the events that followed.
