FedEx Expects Busiest Day in Company History

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- If you're looking to ship out all those holiday gifts you recently wrapped, you're not going to be the only one.

FedEx is expecting to mark their busiest day in company history on Monday. Nearly 300,000 employees will work to send out roughly 19 million packages.

This number is up 10 percent from last year's busiest day, and more than double the volume handled on a typical day.

Officials say the reason for the boost is because of an increase in online shopping.
