EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. - A single-vehicle rollover near Eagle left one person dead Saturday.

The accident happened on Interstate 70 near mile marker 146 around 3 p.m.

Authorities with the Colorado State Patrol say a Volvo station wagon headed westbound veered into the median and rolled.

A passenger in the vehicle, 41-year-old Nova Arjana of Boulder, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The driver, identified as 37-year-old Bayu Arjana of Boulder, was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

An unidentified 8-year-old boy from Boulder sustained minor injuries and a 40-year-old man from Washington sustained life-threatening injuries.

Although the crash is still under investigation, authorities suspect the driver possibly fell asleep at the wheel.
