Rollover Accident Leaves 1 Dead

SAGUACHE COUNTY, Colo.- A rollover accident left one person dead Sunday night.

The crash happened around 8 a.m. on U.S. 285, 11 miles south of the Saguache exit at mile marker 75.

Colorado State Patrol says the driver of a truck traveling northbound drifted off the road and collided with a guard rail before over-correcting and rolling.

The driver was partially ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.

Neither alcohol, drugs nor speed are suspected in the crash. The driver was not wearing a seat belt.

Both sides of the highway were closed during an accident investigation.
