Fatal Rollover Crash on Garfield County Road 108

GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo.- A rollover crash left one man dead and shut down a Western Slope road Monday.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, around 3:40 p.m. a Nissan Pathfinder was traveling eastbound on Garfield County Road 108 when it lost control and rolled.

A man was ejected from the vehicle and a woman was able to crawl out on her own.

The man was transported to Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, where he was pronounced dead.

The woman sustained moderate injuries.

County Road 108 remained closed while crews completed the crash investigation.

The victims' names haven't been released yet.

The Garfield County Sheriff's Office, Carbondale Police Department and Carbondale Rural Fire Department also responded.

CSP is reminding everyone to wear their seat belts and drive safely on mountain roads.
