EAGLE COUNTY, Colo.- A 61-year old Idaho man died when the semi-truck he was driving rolled over on Interstate 70 near Wolcott.

Officials say the driver of the tractor-trailer was headed westbound near mile marker 155 on I-70 when his truck drifted off the left side of the road. Officials say the driver over-corrected and rolled the truck onto its left side.

The driver was pronounced dead on scene.

Colorado State Patrol authorities say hazmat crews were called to clean up about 30 gallons of diesel fuel that leaked out.

The westbound lanes of I-70 near mile marker 155 are closed. Officials are diverting traffic onto Highway 6.

Officials say the lanes will likely remain closed until at least 7 p.m.

The man's name is being held, pending next of kin.

The Eagle River Fire District, Eagle County Ambulance District and the Colorado Department of Transportation responded to the scene with the Colorado State Patrol.
