GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Girls, boys, and men and women strutted their stuff down the runway to raise awareness and money for the Children's Grief Program Saturday.

It was the 8th annual fashion show that officials say brought in around 600 people and hopefully around $75,000 to benefit the Children's Grief Program.

Officials say the program supports around 500 youths that have lost a loved one.

"This program has done so much. It's educated our schools, and partnered with School District 51 to provide the level of support these kids need to come out the other side of this experience as a stronger, more compassionate person," said Christy Whitney, with Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado.

Every year the event is sold out.
