Local Inventor Patents Fashionable Self-Defense Gadget

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. A local inventor is helping women defend themselves, fashionably. Urban Sisneros invented a gadget that helps ladies take attackers on by surprise, giving them an added layer of protection and style.

While it may look like an ordinary hair piece, this could be the accessory that saves your life.

"It clips in their hair and comes down underneath their shirt and it straps on their bicep, and it has a strap on the wrist and it connects to the pepper spray. So if somebody grabs you, you just push the button, spray the guy in the face, and get out of there," Sisneros said.

He was inspired to invent The Pepper Clip to help protect those near and dear to his heart.

"I've got three daughters, my wife, and they like to walk the Riverfront trails, and I can't always be there to protect them," said Sisneros.

The Pepper Clip can adapt to various situations, "If they're coming at you from a frontal attack, all you have to do is just unhook it and spray them that way," he said.

Roberta Fonseca, a Pepper Clip customer, said, "I wear it when I'm walking the trails because I'm usually walking by myself."

Sisneros hopes his invention will prevent more women from becoming statistics.

"According to the US Department of Justice, a woman is attacked every two minutes and that's way too much," he said.

"Get it! It's a great security," said Fonseca.

"It's comfortable to wear and it's concealed. So nobody's going to know you're carrying a Pepper Clip," said Sisneros.

Wow Wheezer your a special kind of stupid aren't you. True that this guy's invention is innovative. But my point was what happens when your attacker is immune to pepper spray. Good luck living in your utopia with your head in the sand.

Typical Gun Moron, S.S.of A, Guns are good, Guns solve societies problems. I am proud of this guy, Sisneros, for his ingenuity,and his ingenuity may make Guns obsolete for "self protection" YEAHHH!!!

The left outta love this. It's anything that takes away 2nd Amendment rights. Sounds like a nice item, except when your attacker is immune to pepper spray.
