GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The family of Patricia Osberg, the Glade Park woman who suffers from Alzheimers, and went missing on Thanksgiving morning is speaking out about how thankful they are to the crews who brought Patricia home safe.
Dozens of Mesa County Search and Rescue crews scanned miles of open space and were able to find Patricia within 24 hours of when she went missing.
"We are grateful to you all and we'll think of you as good friends for the rest of our lives, thank you," said Patricia.
"They put their life on hold to save another life, regardless of the time of you, I'm sure they were all sitting down or getting ready to sit down for Thanksgiving dinner so I'm eternally grateful," said Allen Osberg, Patricia's husband.
The Osberg's say Patricia spent two days at St. Mary's Hospital and mild hypothermia before having a belated Thanksgiving dinner at home with her family.
