Families of Aurora Shooting Victims Still Concerned Over Funds

AURORA, Colo.- Nearly eight weeks after the deadly shooting at an Aurora movie theater, families of some victims still have questions about how donations will be distributed.

A couple weeks ago, family members expressed concern that they didn't have a say over how the money would be handed out.

It appeared the problem was resolved, but then on Thursday, they held another news conference asking Gov. John Hickenlooper to take the $5.2 million victims’ fund away from a private group so that assistance can more quickly be distributed.

Hickenlooper's office had no immediate comment.
