FEMA Awards $1.9M for High Park Fire Costs

DENVER (AP) - Colorado has been awarded a $1.9 million grant to help cover state and local agencies' costs of fighting the High Park wildfire last year.

The money is from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. It will be distributed through the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control.

The High Park Fire west of Fort Collins killed one person and burned 259 homes.
