FBI Searches for 'Bag Lady Bandit'

LITTLETON, Colo.- One robber's escapades have caught the attention of the FBI.

The suspect is being dubbed the "Bag Lady Bandit."

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Littleton Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating multiple bank robberies believed to be committed by the same person.

The suspect, who they believe is female, allegedly robbed four banks in Littleton and Centennial between Aug. 11 and Sept. 6.

The suspect entered the bank, presented demand notes at each location and then fled.

The suspect is described as a white female, 25 to 35 years of age, about 5'5" to 5'7" and 200 to 250 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 303-629-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).

Tippers can earn up to a $2,000 reward and remain completely anonymous for information leading to an arrest.
