Grand Junction - There are new details into what an FBI dive team is searching for. It was day three of the search under a pedestrian bridge in Grand Junction, and the agencies involved are still being tight-lipped, but they are releasing some new details.

It’s still a mystery as to what this FBI dive team is searching for, but police are now saying they’re looking for evidence, not a body.

The police won’t comment on whether anything of interest has been found yet, but the FBI plans on searching again on Thursday, and will keep searching on a day-by-day basis.

So right now, it seems like this search will continue until they find what they're looking for. Police tell us the FBI checked out the site about a month ago to prepare.

Throughout Wednesday, divers used metal detectors to search in the same area under the bridge, and they expect to resume the search Thursday at about 8:00 a.m. We'll have more details for you as they become available.

Grand Junction Police asked for the FBI's help in an investigation they've been working for some time, but they won't say which case.
