WETMORE, Colo.- Some of the people evacuated in Custer County due to a wildfire are being allowed to go home.

The wildfire has burned 14 homes, and those homeowners are now being told to go back in to inspect the damage.

The fire is currently 65 percent contained.

Sheriff's officials say about 380 people were evacuated after the fire broke out Tuesday and quickly grew as the result of strong winds.

Fire officials said the Greenwood community was still evacuated Thursday, but other evacuation orders outside the fire perimeter have been lifted.
