Enstrom Candies Expands Products to Wholesale
KREX News Room
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- All you residents with a sweet tooth, you're in luck because Enstrom Candies is expanding their products to wholesale.
The popular candy company has been making their almond toffee since the 1960's and for the first time you will be able to purchase the treats in super markets.
The team decided to come out with three new flavors: plain buttered toffee, espresso and a peanut toffee.
They say they have been asked in the past to sell to wholesale but had problems with shelf life.
“We want to be a part of the national candy aisle and in order to do that, we needed to make a shelf stable product,” said Jim Simons of Enstrom Candies. “So all of our new products are all shelf stable with a 8 month. They no longer need to be refrigerated or frozen.”
This is the first time the company is coming out with new flavors and officials say it's still the same delicious ingredients.
The products are being sold in Rocky Mountain area Whole Foods, and will soon make their way to City Market, King Soopers and Safeway.
