Emergency Response Time in Aurora Shooting Questioned

by KREX News Room
by Cori Coffin

AURORA, Colo.-Radio traffic from the July 20 movie theater shooting showed emergency personnel struggled to mobilize a response.

While some ambulances were quickly called to duty, it took dispatchers more than 20 minutes into the crisis to ask other nearby agencies to provide additional aid.

It’s not clear, though, whether a faster response would have saved more lives.

Officials have declined to release call records of the response and the Aurora Fire Department declined to discuss the handling of ambulances from that night.

No gun zones seem to have a special calling to those who pull these mass shootings off. Sometimes I wonder if these zones are created just for that purpose by anti-gun groups aided by politicians, agendas sometimes need a push, and I would put nothing past people with a "control" agenda.

If there had been 1 (or more) CCW's (or armed off-duty police) in the audience, this would have been a non-issue. By creating a "killing field" the theater and the City of Aurora created a situation which was much worse than if they had done nothing.

yu dont expect this to happen but since it did there not much you can do in the mass chaos to be thankful his gun jammed. I feel sorry for lives lost thanks for what they tried doing for the injury.
