GUNNISON COUNTY, Colo. - Gunnison County officials say a wildfire that started on Friday has grown to 100 acres.

The East Coal Creek Fire, burning about 17 miles west of Gunnison in the West Elk Wilderness was caused by lightning.

Fire crews say the vast beetle-kill timber in that area is feeding the flames on extremely difficult terrain.
