Early Morning Fire Engulfs Home

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. An early morning blaze engulfed a Fruita house early Friday morning.

According to the Mesa County Sheriffs Office around 2:15 a.m. fire crews responded to the blaze on 1115 20 RD. When they arrived they could see smoke from the attic and flames in the living room.

The fire was contained in less than an hour.

A family of five was at home during the time fortunately they all escaped safely.

The damage is unknown.
