Early Voting Underway in Colorado

by KREX Newsroom
by John Dias

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Beginning Monday, voters in Mesa County and across the state can begin to cast their ballots and drop off mail-in ballots they already received at home.

Politicians from both parties urge their supporters to vote early, before the polls close on Nov. 6.

“Usually, it’s a nice time to vote,” said Sheila Reiner, Mesa County clerk and recorder. “There are no lines, there's no pressure, and people can get it done early and not have to be stuck having to get it done right on Election Day.”

Mesa County elections officials are anticipating around 100 people will come out to vote early on Monday.

There are five different locations across Mesa County.

Two of the main polling places will be at 200 S. Spruce St. in Grand Junction and the Mesa County Fairgrounds on Highway 50.

All polling places are open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and the last day to vote early will be Nov. 2.

Have to agree with the above comments. How hard is it to list the early voting locations???

I can't believe you are making it so hard for people to find where the 5 voting locations are. I have been told by many in my area they don't know where to go.

Why couldn't you just LIST all 5 locations?
