Driver Flees Scene, Leaves Injured Passenger

FRUITA, Colo.- A driver flees the scene after an early morning car accident sends the passenger to the hospital.

The Colorado State Patrol says around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday a white Ford pickup F-250 allegedly ran through a stop sign on 17 1/3 and K 3/4 Road in Fruita.

The vehicle drove into a resident's lawn hitting a thick metal pole and rammed into three large rocks.

The driver of the truck left the passenger at the scene with moderate injuries.

They were taken to Saint Mary's Hospital.

The driver didn't flee he smacked his head and was out of it you guys should really get your facts straight before you report
