GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Mesa County's Central Library in downtown Grand Junction has closed its doors, but only temporarily.

During the closure, renovations will take place to upgrade the facility.

The library will temporarily move to the former Ashley Furniture building located at First Street and Gunnison Avenue, but the public won't be able to access this temporary location until Aug. 13.

Officials plan to have the newly renovated building off of Fifth Street and Grand Avenue ready by spring of 2013.
