Downtown Grand Junction Calling All Local Artists
KREX News Room
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Grand Junction Downtown Partnership is calling all local artists to help them create a brand new logo.
Officials are looking for the logo to express what the downtown looks like to those living in the community.
They are accepting all different types of artwork and design.
The winning entry may even be used to replace the old logo that has been in place for the last three years.
"Downtown is a unique location relative to the Monument, the Mesa, the Colorado River and everything else. We're interested in getting an idea of both 'the what' and 'the where' of downtown Grand Junction," said Aaron Hoffman with Downtown Grand Junction.
All submissions for the logo contest are due by midnight of August 5.
The winner will receive a $250 cash prize, or that same amount in downtown gift certificates.
