CASTLE ROCK, Colo.(CBS4)- Dog debarking is being performed at animal hospitals across the country, including Colorado.

CBS 4's Evrod Cassimy checked out this new procedure and why pet owners are doing it.

My God lady all you had to do was pay attention to your dog!! Did you ever think about walking it or playing with it or spending time with it?? Debarking is cruel!! Maybe someone should do it to you!! Debarking? Really???

Maybe the reporter was like the dog's from the movie "Up" and saw a squirrel.
