STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his eldest daughter, Liz Cheney, are scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the Steamboat Institute Freedom Conference in August.

Jennifer Schubert-Akin, chairman and founding board member of the conservative institute, says she is honored to have the two speak at the fifth-annual conference in Steamboat Springs, adding that the former vice president ``has been an eyewitness to history at the highest levels.''

Liz Cheney is a political analyst for Fox News and has served as a deputy assistant secretary of state.

The speech is scheduled for Aug. 23, and the conference will continue through Aug. 24.
