Del Taco Holds Grand Opening

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Grand Junction's first Del Taco held it's grand opening Tuesday.

Officials from the city attended the ribbon cutting ceremony, as well as corporate employees and other community members.

The store's operations partner says they've received a very warm welcome to the city so far.

"We're excited. We're fired up to be here with a fresh product and a great fast-food product for Grand Junction. We know Grand Junction loves and we're ready to give them what they want," said Hugh Mason, operations partner with the Rocky Mountain Del Group.

Around 70 employees were hired for this location. Two to three more Del Taco restaurants are planned for the city of Grand Junction and officials say the Western Slope could see 10-15 in total.

Hell yeah Dell taco is tasty stuff - they have good burgers and chili fries too. Used to eat it all the time in California - I hope they put one in Paonia soon!
