Deer Rescued From Colo. Springs Swimming Pool

by KREX News Room
by Christina Marrazza

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- A wayward deer made quite a splash in Colorado Springs this weekend.

Scott Smith captured the whole thing on tape.

He says the big buck strolled into his pool to cool off and was struggling to get out.

Fire crews came in to help.

They built a ramp out of plywood and were finally able to coax the deer out of the water.

The deer ran away, but Smith said the animal caused about $2,500 in damage to the pool and the cover.

Don't invite the deer next time. (And you forgot to add in the cost of the Fire Department roll out to the story.)
