House District 55 Candidate Holds Rally For Veterans

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Dan Robinson held a rally at the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Grand Junction Tuesday morning.

The House of Representatives hopeful outlined a piece of legislation that would benefit veterans ages 65 and older who enjoy hunting.

Robinson said he would push for veterans to have additional preference points on their hunting licenses, allowing them to hunt in areas they might not otherwise have been able to.

Typically, these areas have better game than areas that are accessible to everyone.

"I think they're a group of people who need to be recognized and rewarded, and I intend to see that happen," said Robinson.

Robinson is running for the House District 55 seat.
