Crews Work to Repair Waterline Break on Patterson Road

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Ute Water crews are cleaning up a mess on a busy Grand Junction roadway.

According to officials, an 8 inch waterline broke around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning on Patterson Road between 25 and 25 1/2 Roads.

Ute water crews were able to immediately isolate the outage. There are no businesses or homes without water.

Crews have repaired the pipe and are now filling in the hole. Patterson road is expected to be fully reopened by late Tuesday afternoon.

Officials ask folks to use alternate routes to help mitigate traffic.
