Crews Respond to Fire at Ed Bozarth

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Fire crews respond to an overnight fire at a building used to repair cars.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. Thursday at Ed Bozarth Chevrolet located at 2595 Highway 6 & 50.

Fire crews found heavy smoke coming from the building, mostly in the roof area. They forced entry and were able to quickly control the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time. Heat and smoke damage was significant in the west portion of the building .

Several cars were also significantly damaged. No injuries were reported.

Having been listening to a scanner when this happened there are details that have not yet been released it seems. Also from the radio traffic once again the GJFD and GJPD showed why we should all be thankful they are on the job.
