Crews Continue to Battle Springer Fire

LAKE GEORGE, Colo.- Crews are trying to contain a rapidly spreading wildfire.

It's located northwest of Colorado Springs near Lake George.

At last report, the Springer Fire has burned a little more than 1,100 acres and is 39 percent contained.

There are nearly 400 personnel fighting the fire.
