Flour Product Recalled After Plastic Balls Discovered

DENVER- The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced a voluntary recall by King Arthur Flour.

The company discovered small, bright blue, plastic balls in it's product prompting the voluntary recall.

The balls are described as having a smooth surface with no sharp edges between the sizes of 7-9 mm, or roughly half the size of a dime.

The recalls only affect 5-pound bags of King Arthur All-Purpose Flour and King Arthur Unbleached Bread Flour.

King Arthur All-Purpose Flour bags with the following UPC may be affected by the recall: 0-71012-01050-9.

King Arthur Unbleached Bread Flour with the following UPC may be affected by the recall: 0-71012-04105-3.

These products will also have a Best Buy date of December 2013 or January 2014.
