Community Hospital Receives National Accreditation

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - A local health care facility is receiving national accolades.

Community Hospital was recently awarded accreditation from the Health Care Facilities Accreditation Program after the hospital underwent extensive quality and safety standards tests.

Officials say the national designation means that Community Hospital demonstrates a commitment to quality patient care.

The program that administered the review is recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
