Commissioners to Assess Air Emissions from Natural Gas Production

GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo.- A new proposal to study air emissions from natural gas operations is set for consideration in Garfield County.

The Glenwood Springs Post Independent reports that Colorado State University researchers, along with a private research firm, were asked to report the findings after commissioners questioned the validity of an earlier study conducted by the Colorado School of Public Health.

Garfield County commissioners will hear about the three-year study during their regularly scheduled meeting Monday afternoon.
